Lately when starting with a cold engine I have been seeing the temp gauge drop to zero after about 15 mins of driving and a CEL turned on. At the same time the temp gauge drops to zero the a/c will stop functioning. This can be prevented by turning the a/c off and allowing the engine to reach operating temperature and then turning the a/c on which will then work properly for the rest of the drive. What could be causing this to happen??
