The crash sensors can also act up. On both of our 2005's the passenger side front ones went wonky although they have the same part number as the driver's side. First one diagnosed by a Saab Tech with a Tech II. Second was a guess because of what happened to the higher mileage aircraft. I think the great SWEDECAR may have even mentioned the mysterious nature of the passenger front sensor at one point. I should check to see if anything changed on our Dame Edna with respect to position or part numbers. That said, having the light go one while turning seems to point to the connections associated with the clockspring. My own vehicle has an intermittent light associated with turning the steering wheel but the problem went dormant and hasn't been back for the last two years. The colder weather may bring back symptoms though.
