I've had heated grips on my last three bikes, and a Gerbing liner (no longer made) for almost two decades, combined with a Roadcrafter 1-pc I can handle some very cold riding. It's the visor fogging up that is most problematic. I also have Gerbing gloves that plug directly into the liner sleeves.
Unfortunately it seems like a lot of heated gear has moved from bike-powered to batter-powered.
Maybe you already have heated, if not...sweet. The liner isn't insulated, so suitable for warmer temps. Even extended (multiple hours) of high 40's, low 50's benefit from it, with a solid-state Heat Troller to dial in just what's needed, without having to change layering.
The Caponord has more wind-protection than my previous (VFR800 and Srpint 1050 ABS), so perhaps not as necessary (haven't really tested it).
keep the rubber side down, and ATGATT
