The good thing, I am already home.
Depressing the pedal partway would allow it to start. I had cleared the code, but the CEL was back on while running.
I could reset the limp home, but without any work done on the throttle body, would it come back on, i.e., do I probably need to replace the throttle body, or could something else cause this?
I was surprised to find a CKP sensor (CPS) available at Advance Auto. I was trying to decide if I wanted to get the motorcycle out for the 25-min ride in 30F to get it. I guess that I can rule out that sensor, and stay warm (at least as warm as my attached garage).
thanks
