These coolant leaks always seem to happen in the freezing cold! I would for sure keep an eye on it and if you start getting regular coolant low messages, get it fixed. It can easily start drip drip dripping as you drive and then you are asking for trouble. But the warning message is helpful so you should be ok if that is only rarely coming on with the odd top up needed.
WRT ABS/TCS... yes, they do the job (try turning off TCS in winter!!), and they certainly take all the fun out of driving snow covered roads in that they hugely limit the rate of acceleration. That said, our c900's drive circles around our 9-5's in winter. No abs or tcs and yet can accelerate, brake, corner, everything, much much faster than in the 9-5 and with much more security and when things do break loose, much more predictably (and progressively) so easier to regain control. The 9-5 is a much heavier car with wider tires (narrow tires on a 9-5 are at the width limit for a c900). The c900's were particularly good snow cars though, so that is not to say the 9-5 is bad, but it is not particularly special in snow imho. All our cars get top end snow tires, so that is not the issue.
