I have trouble with the jaw widening on this style wrench and slipping off the sensor when I really put some force on it. I have a 24mm open end wrench that sometimes is successful. For the really hard cases, I cut off the leads and use a 6-point deep socket with a breaker bar to do the job.
The last couple of sensors I put on already had some anti-seize paste on the treads.
