Thanks for the suggestions. As I recall the issue is not temperature dependent. It happens when the engine is warmish or cold. Time also does not appear to be an issue nor does the outside air temperature. The fuel pump has ~120K miles. That could possible be it-not sure. I have experienced check valve problems in my 9000-that was a consistent problem but always resolved itself when the fuel pressure came up. My issue causes a stumble (assuming it actually catches) which can go on for 30 to 40 seconds followed either by stalling or, fortunately, a return to smooth idle. I am currently carrying an extra fuel pump...it just doesn't feel like a fuel pump issue...I am leaning toward throttle body. So far no issues after fixing hard line to cobra although its way to early to tell. It's very intermittent.
