Re: 2008 with 195K miles - 2006's with ca 140K Posted by Mark in Marine [Email] (#1837) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mark in Marine) on Sat, 13 Apr 2019 14:57:46 In Reply to: Re: 2008 with 195K miles, Boris Bubbanov, Sat, 13 Apr 2019 12:48:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm listening to all of this, since the pair of 2006's I'm maintaining have 132K and 143K, respectively. So far no TB problems on any 9-5 I've owned: 1999 SE given away at 231K miles and a 2005 Arc totalled at 132K by another car.
At the moment the only 'open issue' for this pair of cars is an intermittent recurring P0455 on the 143K car. I have a long list of things it is not (including Evap solenoid), but I need time with the car in warm weather to inspect components like the carbon canister and shutoff valve. I expect that somewhere I will find a crack or other damage. I've done most of the things Dave suggests except TB replacements and the epoxy at the TC to Head junction - and I always thought TB issues were the exception. I might need to be prepared.
