The SAAB radio uses uncommon antenna connectors. Luckily the more mass market VW cars use the same connectors and adapters are available. I would try the Installers.com website as a source for face plate adapters to fit the dash opening as well as other bits and pieces.
Use gorilla tape or duct tape to pull out the four caps covering the radio mounting screws, at least far enough to grab them with fingers or pliers, then remove the screws behind them. Two connectors and one antenna lead as shown in the photo below.
I still have my factory radio but needed to intercept the antenna lead to feed my Digital FM adapter so I can listen to the local Jazz Station.
