110,000 miles ± 10,000 miles seems to be the distribution on life of Bosch CPS. Heat soak is their enemy. I did ours (from the top) about 100,000 miles ago. It's time again.
I used a miniature 3/8 ratchet driver that I could get in there with my hand. I don't recall taking anything else apart. I have thin hands. For reassembly I recall pushing the sensor and new o-ring home with a short 2 x 4. I used some butyl rubber to afix the torx fastener to the bit I used.
Running the wire up to the connector on the back side of head was a bit fiddly especially that spring clip that holds the cable to a coolant tube. It's completely blind.
