I replaced the water pump on my 2005 Aero Wagon and have the dreaded leak around the pipe connecting the pump to the block. A second attempt at the install was also unsuccessful in spite of a lot of effort cleaning up the mating surfaces. The replacement O-Rings looked a bit thin and hard compared with the rings on the original pump.

Any advice regarding the correct O-Ring and the best sealing strategy would be greatly appreciated.
