You will need to support your engine from above to safely remove the subframe. The process described for "subframe-off" replacement of subframe bushings gives you an idea of what you will face to get good access to the Power Steering (PS) hose. I have removed a subframe for bushings, but I have not done anything with the PS lines. Note that the car shown is a 2.3 Turbo, not a V6.
