yes one wheel at a time is how I do it. you'll need to remove the parking brake bracket and disconnect the hydraulic brake line and remove the caliper inorder to remove the trailing arm.
If you haven't already, consider replacing the bushings (#17 and 15 on the trailing arm, and #7 on the cross stay) while you have it all apart.
