About to do a change of alternator. It tested bad after sluggish starts and a good battery.
My 05 Linear wagon is at is at 127,000mls on its original alternator and also the original starter.
My question is, should I also do the starter pre-emptively while the alternator is out just so as to not have to go in again, or is that job separate enough to do on its own?
I have done an alternator before but not a starter and am not sure just how close it is.
Was thinking of doing the oil pressure switch/valve too.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
