P1110 Charge Air Bypass Valve (CABV) performance fault 1 Saabers Like This Post! Posted by Dave The Ice Age Knave [Email] (#2068) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Dave The Ice Age Knave) on Sat, 18 Jan 2020 17:10:19 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
2006 Grippen Interceptor (previously known as a Dame Edna) 149,000km. Two of the vacuum lines had come off the vacuum pump on the firewall. I was surprised to see the wear and tear on the line from the turbo bypass valve to the vacuum valve on the firewall. The vacuum line was heavily rubbed but not through in several spots, some crazing and stretching at the ends. I thought vacuum line issues were always someone else's issue. A hot climate problem, etc. Now I am a believer and a Belieber. I might still have a valve issue but I erased the code and will test pilot it next week. Has anyone installed an upgraded turbo bypass valve on a stock 2006+ 9-5? If so, did you like the increase in turbo response or purrrrrrformance?
