I received my new GM 215-610 SAI Pump intended for a Buick as the price was cheap. What was different with the Buick/GM SAI Pump was the cover assembly, rubber mounts, and wiring harness. Taking the 4 screws out of the pump housing will allow interchanging of the cover. The harness can also be exchanged with the old motor by lifting off rubber cover from the motor(s) and disconnecting the spade lugs. Clip it on the new motor and good to go. The rubber mounts just clip on. My car is different than the Youtube videos and information I found and received. The SAI Pump on my car is underneath the vehicle behind the left-hand fog light. Pretty easy to access with the car on ramps. The other thing I had read is the easy way to determine if the SAI fuse is blown is the heater fan shares the fuse. On my car, Fuse 22 is the heater fan and Fuse 24 is for the SAI Pump, both are 40 amperes. My SAI Fuse was blown. I also found the relay under the dash had fried contacts, relay "D". I'm not absolutely sure that relay is for the SAI Pump? So I drove the car tonight and didn't notice the SAI Pump run but honestly I'd never noticed it running even when it worked. My code reader after clearing the codes is showing Catalyst and Air Pump not ready. I suspect I need a couple of drive cycles for them to go ready, at least I hope so.
The failed SAI Pump was completely submerged in water. The rubber motor cover hangs downward and was full of water that I assume is from leaky Check valves on the exhaust manifolds. Not sure how difficult replacing the Check valves would be?
Anyway, appreciate all the help on my earlier posting. Fingers crossed the ECU marks all systems GO soon. Thanks again. Need to get through the emissions testing here (Oregon) and then really don't care if the SAI is active. Tags are good for 2 years here.
