2005 Arc sedan - been slowly chasing a wiper issue - only works on low speed, dead on high, intermittent, or wash (washer works, wipers don't wipe when washer is triggered). Parks properly from low speed. No power at the motor on anything but low. Haven't really dug too deep, as I could live with it, although annoying.
Today I had the car to my local A/C guy, assuming it was low on refrigerant. He tells me the compressor isn't getting a signal to turn on, ran out of time to dig deeper until next week.
Is there anything common between these that I should look into, or is it just a coincidence that I have two signal failures?
