9-5 SID backlight lamp repair

The backlight behind the clock display on my SID went out - you can still see the faint LCD segments if you look very closely, but from a normal driving position, much too faint to make out. I recall that the bulbs (Eeuroparts has them) are simple to replace once you have the SID in hand.
The plan is to remove the radio unit, then the SID. I've never disassembled any 9-5 dash components: once these pieces are out, when I go to replace them, is there any kind of Tech II reprogramming needed for the radio unit to work as usual, after it's been temporarily removed?
TIA!
