And that's where the car owners have to be educated, that todays cars are much more difficult to find problems on and it takes a very dedicated technician to find many of the problems. And certainly that the tech gets paid for his time spent.


It does sound like a DI cassette that starts to fail.

And as for the "computers" that you hook up to the car. IF you are very lucky, it shows you the right way to the problem, but many times it also leads you down the wrong path if you are not carefully enough.

With cars from the mid 90's and up, I find myself driving the car much more than ever before to make the problem occur. And when it happens. In that splitsecond, you have to gather as much information as possible to be able to pinpoint and repair the problem.
