The only parts of the heater box that contain coolant are the heater core and the two pipes that lead to it from the fittings on the other side of the firewall, so should be a pretty limited set of places to look.
I would suggest opening it all up again, see if you can see the source of the fluid when it’s under pressure. Could be as simple as an o-ring not sealing properly or perhaps the heater core itself is a bum one?
