I heard back from my mechanic today. He said they isolated it to the Secondary Air Pump. They removed it and tested it and it was good, but when they put it back in the car, it cause the heater to not work, or basically, closes the heater bypass valve. When they bypassed the vacuum hoses from the Secondary Air Pump, everything started working correctly and also the heater worked. Any ideas on why this would make sense? I'm going down to talk to them and get more details tomorrow. Basically, I just wanted to confirm with youall that is SAP deleted from the system would not create a problem for my mom's car in other ways. THANKS!
