Ran into a running 9-5 that was to scrap I saved seeing the plastic heater fittings broken and dumping water into the cabin passenger side - replaced the core easily (so easy on these) only to see light stream coming in along the metal pipes that bridge the firewall and the bay hoses - so I straight connected the hoses to the pipes thinking the valve was leaky only to find it did the same - the amount of rust from running water was excessive and i surmise the pipe burst with frozen water in winter which is why they scrapped because - can't get the pipes out without removing the Evap core box (which is impossible without dash and such?
