Tips on positive battery cable replacement Posted by LawrenceJ [Email] (#926) [Profile/Gallery] (more from LawrenceJ) on Sun, 13 Aug 2023 11:37:43 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hello All,
I need to replace my positive battery cable due to internal corrosion (max. 13.4 volts at the battery, alternator is new), and I see the replacement cable has two rubber-lined clamps to be attached somewhere on the frame or engine. Does anyone have any tips on the routing of this cable, or on the removal/insertion of the four leads into the maxi-fuse box located beside the battery?
