I wanted to share with you something interesting concerning a very rare Saab, its actually very sad news. Maybe you want to save this information for future historical conversations. In my opinion this could have been one of the most valuable 9-5s for this series. Certainly the most rare.
The vehicle is actually the only ONE MANUAL 9-5 Griffin wagon that was sold in the USA. It was Nocturne Blue. (Saab sold 16 Automatics.)
The vehicle was recently donated to charity. It was going to be auctioned off this Wednesday in California. It lived all its life in CA btw. I was all set to bid on this and buy it pretty much whatever it takes. The plan was to resurrect it to much needed perfection. It only had 62K miles. It's basically a manual Aero Wagon with Griffin Touches, really amazing vehicle.
It's literally perished. I don't have the details yet on what happened on that yard, but car is still parking in the same position as other photos were taken. This must have happened in the past day or two.
