It's a kit using that partnumber. Both front an rear lines are included.

There used to be that you could order either the front or rear pipe and if you were lucky and had the right year, it was possible to replace just the front or rear due to the male or female coupler mating up to what you have but I'm not sure if that option is available and if your car is within that newer or older model.

Sound like that have already been tried by your mechanic though.
