I have a spring compressor and have done shocks several times now on various saabs, but I never love doing it and time is an issue for me at the moment... so I have considered getting a pre built strut... but there is less flexibility in the parts selection with the pre built units and also some of those suppliers don't sell to Canada. I will double check that one.

How have the moogs held up? I've heard mixed opinions on them. I gather the pro parts ones were not great in the past, especially the bolts that come with. I should probably check the size and get an appropriate tap if I don't already have one... Unfortunately OEM is long gone for these it seems, so I was thinking of getting the pro parts mount assuming it is an ok clone of the OEM and use an skf bearing and new non pp bolts
