Hey all, been chasing a stutter at high boost, relatively low RPM for the last year or so (obviously not chasing it hard).

I replaced the DIC last year since it was 100k+mi and 20+ years old. Also new plugs.

I get no hesitation in any gear at high rpm (over 4k), but in 4th or 5th gear, under 3500, I was getting serious "bucking" at high boost.

Replaced the one vac line today that looked really bad (the others I think I recently replaced). It was "hose 5" in this post: Click Here

Also pulled the DIC and regapped the plugs to .9mm each. BCPR7ES-11

Huge difference. But still getting a single "hiccup" at high boost in 4th (maybe 5th too, not much street to tell around here). WAAAYYYY better than it was.

One thing I noticed was this line that was basically just floating in there. There isn't the "push red collar in, then pull line out" in my intake. It just slides right in. I replaced the intake pipe last year as well as the old one was just crumbling and the plastic was 100% shot. Pretty sure my old one had the red collar, but this one didn't. What's up with that?
