The PO (and this goes back 21 years now) put an abbott water injection system in this car. the 2 crimped wires are the pressure switch. The wires running over to the windscreen cowl are just a simple LED light I wired up for testing it a long long time ago because the pressure switch is variable but you have no real idea when it is coming on without a light (I mean, you can hear it sometimes but...)

I've since disabled the entire system and replaced the intake which is where the injection nozzle was. It all ran off the washer fluid tank. On a 90* day it would make it feel much more like a 60* day worth of power.
