I bought a set of used wheels for snow tires, put new Schrader sensors in the wheels and then had a tire store mount new tires. The car recognized the sensors right away. When it came time for new summer tires, i bought the same Schrader sensors and gave them to my tech to install when he put on the new tires. The car recognized them again and I did not need to use my Tech 2. The car is a 2009 9-5 Aero combi.
