The headlight removal is for earlier models. I’m not sure the MY cutoff, but it is <2003. In my 2003, the port is located on the fender aft of the MAF. If you locate the pair of AC lines running along the fender, you can follows them and locate the capped Schrader valve.
Note that simply trying to top-up the AC with R134A may not yield good results. The variable displacement compressors are very sensitive to over and under charging, and the best method to charge the system is to do a complete evacuation and recharge with the proper weight of refrigerant - either 825g or 875g (!.8 or 1.9 lbs) depending on what the capacity sticker under the hood says. Overchange can damage the compressor.
