warranty problem will exist -even if you learned to do them your self. How one drives is how long the pads last and so Saab does not cover any "wear" item. OEM pads are your best bet but there are other pads out there that have so called "Lifetime" warranty. but the labor will kill you and they are so hard the pads devour your rotors, so take your pick. as for the bulbs. The bulbs last about 400-500 hours and burn all the time you are in the car, again, you are about right and these are covered by warranty. My dealer just keeps on replacing mine free of charge along with my bananna alarm thiingie. I don't think they are related but seems everytinme I get a bulb replaced my alarm has failed too. Maybe you should try a BMW- 5 series next, they let mine out of the shop on weekends so I could drive it -if the weather was nice!
