2002 Linear incentives, leases, and for the most part the stock of cars here on So Cal, expired on Sept 3rd. There are still some deals availible on Arcs and Aeros, but not Linears.
2003 Linears are in. The factory lease ad is $379 for a stick shift base car, MSRP $34,620, no premium, no automatic. Still a great deal with the dealer contributing most of his profit, cash from Saab, and a 2%ish lease rate. Great terms, but it only feels sucky next to the $339 '02 Linear lease that expired 9-3. You could probably lease an '02 Arc or Aero for darn close to an '03 Linear as automatic and premium package are standard on an Arc.
There's specials on all the '03 9-5's with subvented low lease rates and dealer cash from Saab. The higher residuals on '03's make the newer car pretty attractive, but the '02 Arc's and Aero's will be somewhat less and a lower payment with a lower residual, a win win. And of course your local dealer will be more flexible on '02's.
Nothing on '02 Linears though.
