Jon, I have both sets in use now. SP 9000/BBS RK wheels mounted on Aero sedan and stock Pilot(MXM?)/BBS RK-II mounted on the Aero wagon. The 9000's are noticeably noiser both in rolling to a stop sign through highway cruise. Where the Pilot is relatively quiet at hgihway cruise and barely notice at 30 MPH turn the wheel back and forth. The 9000's remind me that they are there when I do the 30 MPH steering exercise and the sterring felt a bit more weighted. Appearence wise the 9000's fit the 8" width wheel better as the Pilot's look a bit stretched. This might explain the extra noise and weighted feel as there might be a bigger contact patch(not sure of the weight of the 9000's but the Pilot weighs about 21.5 lbs.). Coming to a stop I am reminded of a big 4-wheel drive with off-road tires. You can both hear and feel each individual slap of the tread(yes I have them on correctly). Not sure if other SP 9000 owners have felt this. Maybe Coolnight could explain the tire composition better.
The Pilot Alpins snow tires are quieter than both...how'd they do that with a snow tire? :)

P.S. They do look aggressive though:
