Considering all that is involved in tire noise...
Tire noise really is vibrations that find their way into
the cockpit and that's where they do that evil noise thing.
I use the std klingon rims, and I inflated my SP9000 with
nitrogen which helps reduce noise. My SP9000 are quiter on
the std rims when inflated with N2.
Could be that on your rims the SP9000 are more noisy as each rim
time transmits vibrations in a different way. (diff. alloys, design etc.)
I would suggest that you inflate them with N2 and compare.
At least for my 9-5 Aero moving from the Pilot HX to the SP9000s
was a big improvement in noise, but remember I inflate my tires
with N2.
Regards,
Coolknight
