Hi, I have been offered a very good discount on a leftover 2002 Arc. I test drove both the Arc and Aero- liked steering on the Aero, noted more vibration through wheel at idle and slightly more road noise. Dealer pushed the Arc over Aero saying that in New England, would be hassle to change wheels and that handling was not dramatically different.
Questions-
1. is the 3.0 a good reliable engine- do you find power sufficient?
2. are the performance tires really as bad as they say in snow?
3. any Arc driver care to comment on why they chose arc over aero?
4. Are the ventilated seats helpful?
5. Is the handling really markedly different? could the gap be narrowed with different tire selection?
