I've had my '02 Arc for two months now and love it. This my first Saab. I am a recent convert from BMW. I've monitored this board for a few months now and I'm guessing you will get a wide variety of opionions on your question. IMO your are talking about two 'flavor's of the same car. The Arc is tweaked for luxury and the Aero is tweaked for sport. It is far from night and day. God I hope the 3 liter engine is reliable, time will tell. I live in Atlanta and have no idea about driving in snow. The ventilated seats are superb, especially on a hot day when your car has been sitting out in the sun. They cool down much quicker with the fan. I chose the Arc because I wanted an upscale car that performed well. And it does. If performance is the utmost important thing to you, you might want to consider the 'other' flavor.
