I've heard Bon-Ami is fantstic for this

But I haven't tried it yet. Is it on the inside or outside? I've got some kind of permanent haze on the inside of my '99, & I'm going to try either Bon-Ami or a cream chrome/glass cleaner on it. On the outside, I always use Rain-X, but that can be hazy/streaky right after application (it clears up with the first wiper use). The big advantage to Rain-X is that it completely prevents any scratches from the wipers moving dried dirt/dust across the windshield. It also makes snow/ice removal a LOT easier than from untreated glass.
