When the '03 9-5 was cold, as currently in most of northeast US, it idles fine without putting into gear; but when put into gear before driving off, the vibration can be felt up through the steering column.
I don't think any passenger in the car can feel the vibration as in the older 9K. The vibration does diminishes to acceptable level when warmed up.
Would anyone by any chance know the latest software version for the fix ?
I suspect they just raise the idle when in gear a bit to smooth out the vibration without raising emission content.
