I'm generally happier with new jet system than the blades (I had with OG 900.) Here's my comments:
1) No out-of-sync wiper blades (looks very sad)
2) No worry about brittle blade edges (better reliability/ lower maintenance?)
3) Less chance to scratch plastic lenses (as somebody already mentioned)
4) Better aerodynamic (well, I do not have comparable figures but I'm sure the jet system contributes to awsome Cd/ wind noise with newer 9-5's.)
In any way, I think the system is designed to help you get through some harsh environmental driving conditions safer, and not to keep your headlamp lenses in show-room condition. Having said above, the new system seems to me very effective.
