mine was manual(1999 9-5 2.3 lpt), but about 141/2 was the max. I also had a 1996 900SE, and its top speed was about 140 also. The 900 seemed a lot more stable at that speed, but the 9-5 didn't feel unsafe. This was on the highways of Spain, I haven't been near that fast since I moved back to the states. I did a lot of cruising at 100 mph, and you couldn't tell a difference from 70 mph unless you looked down.
