but I think anyones claying system and a descent wax would work fine. I didn't do all the work at the same time, but the claying actually went pretty quick, however my paint was not in bad shape. I guess it took about 2 hours to clay the car and another 1 1/2 hours to wax it. It is much easier to wax after it has been clayed. Now, do to my semi-selective anal nature, I also waxed everything on the car that could not run away from me, including door jams area, all painted surfaces under the trunk lid, including the hinges, and the painted areas under the hood....which will just evaporate off once the underhood temperature reaches 180 degrees. I also gently put a light coat of wax on the wood surfaces inside the car (a detailer showed me this years ago); wood buffs to a very nice shine. BTW, I also clayed the front windshield.
