The only way to tell is to connect techII and read the date of manufacture. The dealer should have performed this operation when your car had the recall performed. The 724 recall had the dealer replace the Ecu if within the production dates listed in the recall. Another poster had similar complaints below on this board. Look for my responce, included is a letter from saab adressing his complaint similar to yours.The repair involves de carbonization of the combustion chambers and valves. This is accomplished by the engine ingesting a top engine cleaner.
