Waste oil and greasy hands...

I put the used oil into the container the new oil came in. In Toronto anyhow, you can drop off your used oil (and paint, batteries, or any other "hazzardous" material) at the local waste transfer station for free.
If you're worried about dirty hands a pair of latex gloves work nicely. So do hand cleaners with pumice and citrus oils.
Not sure where I could get an oil change any cheaper- it costs me about $45 Canadian for 4L of Mobil 1, a Saab filter and a washer. I have my doubts that my local Saab dealership could change the oil anyhow (see my post from yesterday)
I don't mind doing the work, its something to keep me amused for an hour on the weekend and after sitting in an office posting to Saabnet all week it makes me feel like a "real" man. Being an automotive design engineer, I like doing my own work whenever possible just to keep perspective- how many times have you done some work and wished the designer had thought of serviceability?
