Alan, I own a 2002 9-5 GF wagon (my wifes) and a 2002 TL type S mine which replaced a 1989 SPG. They are both really nice cars. I have had warranty work with the 9-5 that have all been performed with never a question raised. It worries me for the long haul. A turbo, a SID, a sensor, oil leak, window motor and track, rear window washer, all small stuff but stuff none the less. The TL is smaller inside, and is not versatile in terms of carrying large loads. The pass thru allows for small and long but not big loads. The TL is MUCH faster than the 9-5, but the Aero makes up for that, and also the higher quality seats than in my 2000 9-5. SO you have a tough choice. I think you'll have less little things go wrong in the Acura but the 9-5 is overall a nicer car, after all it is quite a bit more in price. Good luck Both are great. I drove an aero wagon as a loaner a few weeks ago. I really liked it and would buy it in a heartbeat.
