I have a '99 9-5 sedan which is also black. I don't know about your wagon, but on my car, there is a little trough where the c-pillar meets the roof. The paint in that little trough on my car has begun to crack and orange peel. Next time I take my car in for service, I am going to ask about it. I don't really want to have my car repainted (even though I do have a few little door dings) because a repaint is often times not as good as the factory paint, but I want it taken care of before the car goes out of warranty.
I think I've heard that black Saabs don't have a clear coat finish. Does anyone know if I'm right and if so, does that leave the black cars more susceptible to paint problems? Has anyone else with a black Saab had the same problem?
Thanks!
-Chris
