mounting point in back seat near the assist handle? Posted by Ken [Email] (#2113) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ken) on Mon, 7 May 2001 15:11:17 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a 2001 wagon with the metal pet barrier installed. It fits into holes in the roof that are behind plastic shields, and the lower point attaches to the rear seat support. I noticed yesterday that there are a similar set of plastic shields in the back seat area, just behind the overhead assist handle. Does anyone know what these are for? One thought I had was an alternative mounting point for the pet barrier, when the rear seat is down, but then where do you attach the lower part to? Are these another future growth item with no current purpose? I didn't see anything in the accessory catalog that looks like it would go there.
