$36,300 is an excellent "cap cost" (lease price) for that car!
But even after adding the $1000 negative equity, I'm having trouble coming up with $602 per month--the calculator at leaseguide.com says $545/month.
Are there other fees like a bank fee, security, etc., which are being rolled into the cap cost? Perhaps there's something else specific to TX balloon financing which I'm not familiar with.
Also how many miles per year? 12K?
Try the lease calculator, link below.
** ANOTHER THING TO CONSIDER!
Until September 30th, SAAB is offering *0% financing* for up to 60 months for a traditional loan. If this is available to you, you could BUY (rather than lease) the car for around $600/month (that is, *IF* $36,300 would still be the selling price...)
Gotta love 0%! (It's advertised on saabusa.com and kbb.com)
Definitely ask your dealer about that!
