I was coming home from work one night around dusk after having a rather frustrating day. I saw what looked like a black balloon blowing towards me. I was going down hill at a pretty good clip (~35MPH) and decided I would take out some frustration on this poor balloon. So, I lined up the front driver wheel to run over it. And then "KA-BANG" I hit the balloon and it when rebounding off to the right and off the side of the road. In shock was trying to figure out what the balloon really was. It turns out that the road going up the other side of the valley that the hill I was going down into was still under construction and closed. Some kids thought it would be fun to roll bowling balls down the hill into traffic coming down the hill on other side of the valley (the hill I was driving down). Well, I'm sure they were quite pleased when I fell into their trap :-)

Anyway, I was driving a 1990 Integra at the time. All that really happened was a bubble on the side wall of the tire and the need for an alignment. I diligently avoid anything I see in the road now!
