Finally got up into the 90's this week here in Chicago.

My 2000 5-speed LPT car with the chip upgrade seems to have a problem in this weather. If I'm trying to go from a stop when I release the clutch, I get no response. A split second later, I get the full turbo rush, and the car gets going. It's very odd, and hard to describe, but it's as though the turbo is stalling for a second, and then gets going. This ONLY happens in warm weather. 20 degrees cooler and I'd have no problem. Is this typical of a turbo engine in the heat, or do I have a problem with the wastegate, or bypass valve. Does anyone else have a similar issue now that we are getting into the dog days of summer?? I tried to have my dealer check it out at the last service, but with no codes, and it being cooler, he couldn't replicate the problem. Thanks.
