Actually, more like sniffle/sniff, thank gawd.
Driving my 775-mile baby down to Orange County this morning...yeah, in the fast lane 8^)... and the car in front throws up a particleboard-ish 2'x2' (along with sundry particles it had chewed off while running it over), right onto my front right bumper. THUD!
Several invective-laden minutes pass, no "CHECK" lights go on, steering isn't affected, so I journey on, BP subsiding ever so slowly.
Finally reach my exit, get off and get out, notice what appears to be a rash on the black vinyl on the front bumper, and below that on the very bottom plastic chin something that looks like a 1 inch gash caused by a Ginsu blade. It does show black (white car, white chin), so it is noticeable. Maybe some touch-up paint, since you really have to bend opver (or stand way back) to have your eye drawn to it.
A case of the bark being worse than the bite to the chin...this time.
